20N. (1) The Authority may, if it deems it fit so to do, lease out any bridge or toll-road to any person for such period, and on such terms and conditions, as may be determined by it for the purpose of administration, management, operation and maintenance of such bridge or toll-road, as the case may be. (2) The Authority shall select the lessees through open tenders invited in such manner as may be prescribed by regulations. (3) The instrument of lease under this section shall provide for termination of the lease, and for compensation, in case of failure on the part of the lessee to fulfil the terms and conditions of the lease. (4) A lessee shall have all the powers and rights of the Authority in respect of administration, management, operation and maintenance of the bridge or toll-road, as the case may be, leased out to him, and he shall exercise those powers and rights under this Ordinance and the rules and regulations. (5) All arrear payments due from the lessee to the Authority shall be recoverable as public demand.
