(1) Every person who has in his possession, custody or control any asset or property acquired, or transferred to and vested in the Foundation, under this Ordinance, including any book of account, documents or other papers relating thereto, shall be liable to account for such asset or property and shall deliver the same to the Foundation or to an officer authorised by it in this behalf. (2) Without prejudice to the provisions of sub-section (1), the Government or the Foundation may take such steps as may be necessary to take possession or assume control of the assets and properties referred to in sub-section (1), and for the purpose of taking such possession or assuming such control, such force may be used as may be necessary.
