Chapter VI

REGISTRATION, INSURANCE AND VALUE- PAYABLE POST

Power to give effect to arrangements with other countries.
36.(1) Where arrangements are in force with 1[any foreign country], for the transmission by post of registered, insured or value-payable postal articles between Bangladesh and 2[such country], the Government may make rules to give effect to such arrangements.
 
 
 
 
(2) In particular and without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing power, such rules may prescribe–
 
 
 
 
(a) the form of declaration to be made by the senders of such postal articles as aforesaid; and
 
 
 
 
(b) the fees to be charged in respect thereof.
