2[77A. (1) Notwithstanding anything contained in any other provisions of this Act, a document may be registered digitally in the manner prescribed by rules by using any software approved by the Government for presentation of documents, admitting documents for registration, registration of documents and matters incidental thereto.
(2) For carrying out the purposes of sub-section (1), the Government shall make rules by notification in the Official Gazette.]
