35. (1) The Government may, for the whole or any part of ¹[Bangladesh], by notification in the official Gazette, constitute an ²[Electricity Board]. (2) The Board shall consist of a chairman and not less than two other members. (3) The Government may, by general or special order,- (a) determine the number of members of which the Board shall be constituted and the manner in which such members shall be appointed, (b) define the duties and regulate the procedure of the Board, (c) determine the tenure of office of the members of the Board, and (d) give directions as to the payment of fees to, and the travelling expenses incurred by, any member of the Board in the performance of his duty.
