1♣An Act to consolidate and amend the Law constituting the office of Official Trustee.

 
WHEREAS it is expedient to consolidate and amend the law constituting the office of the Official Trustee; It is hereby enacted as follows:-
 
 
 

Part I

PRELIMINARY

Short title, extent and commencement
1. (1) This Act may be called the Official Trustees Act, 1913.
 
 
(2) It extends to the whole of 2[Bangladesh].
 
 
(3) It shall come into force on such date as the 3[Government] by notification in the official Gazette may direct.
