The Registration of Foreigners Act, 1939

An Act to provide for the registration of foreigners in Bangladesh. ♣

 

WHEREAS it is expedient to provide for the registration of foreigners entering, being present in, and departing from, Bangladesh.

 
 
 
 

It is hereby enacted as follows:-

 
 
 
 
 

Short title and extent
1. (1) This Act may be called the Registration of Foreigners Act, 1939.
 
 
 
 
(2) It extends to the whole of Bangladesh.
