14. (1) The Government may, by notification in the official Gazette, make rules for the purpose of carrying into effect the provisions of this Ordinance. (2) In particular and without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing provision, the Government, may make rules-(a) regulating the appointment, resignation and removal of probation officers and prescribing the qualification of such officers;(b) prescribing and regulating the duties of probation officers; and(c) regulating the remuneration payable to probation officers.
