56. Every person subject to this Ordinance who, being in command of any of the naval ships, naval vessels or aircraft without lawful authority-(a) receives or permits to be received on board the ship, vessel or aircraft any goods or merchandise intended for disposal or delivery by way of trade or business (whether on his own account or on account of any other person), not being merchandise received in the course of salvage; or(b) agrees to convey any goods or merchandise on board the ship, vessel or aircraft in consideration of the payment of freight, or demands or receives any payment in respect of such carriage,shall be liable to be dismissed from the service.
