The Prevention of Interference with Aids to Navigation Ordinance, 1962 (East Pakistan Ordinance)

( Ordinance NO. II OF 1962 )

2. In this Ordinance, unless there is anything repugnant in the subject or context,-
(a) “aids to navigation” means marks, buoys, lights, bandals and other contrivances installed for conservancy of channels and aids to navigation by the Authority;
(b) “Authority” means the Bangladesh Inland Water Transport Authority established under section 3 of the 1[* * *] Inland Water Transport Authority Ordinance, 1958; and
(c) “mischief ” means mischief as defined in section 425 of the 2[* * *] Penal Code, 1860.
