Restriction of publication of proceedings
12. (1) No person shall publish any proceedings relating to an investigation which is pending before the Ombudsman unless prior permission for the publication is obtained from the Ombudsman.
(2) Whoever contravenes the provision of sub-section (1) shall be punishable with simple imprisonment for a term which may extend to three months, or with fine which may extend to two thousand Taka, or with both.
