(1) No person shall, without the approval of the Government, organise any course of study or training in medicine including surgery, obstetrics, nursing, pharmacy and midwifery and grant degrees, diplomas, licences or certificates.(2) Whoever contravenes this provision shall be punishable with imprisonment for a term which may extend to two years and with fine; and if the contravention is a continuing one, with a further fine which may extend to Taka five hundred for every day during which such contravention continues.
