Chapter XXV

OF THE MODE OF TAKING AND RECORDING EVIDENCE IN INQUIRIES AND TRIALS

Evidence to be taken in presence of accused
353. Except as otherwise expressly provided, all evidence taken under Chapters 1[* * *] XX, 2[* * *] XXII and XXIII shall be taken in the presence of the accused, or, when his personal attendance is dispensed with, in presence of his pleader.
