THE DESTRUCTIVE INSECTS AND PESTS ACT, 1914

(ACT NO. II OF 1914).

     1 An Act to prevent the introduction into Bangladesh 2[ ***] of any insect, fungus or other pest, which is or may be destructive to crops.
 
    WHEREAS it is expedient to make provision for preventing the introduction into Bangladesh 3[ * * *] of any insect, fungus or other pest, which is or may be destructive to crops; It is hereby enacted as follows:-
   
 
 
   
 
 
 
1 Throughout this Act, except otherwise provided, the words `Bangladesh` and `Government` were substituted, for the words `Pakistan` and `Central Government` or `Provincial Government` respectively by section 3 and 2nd Schedule of the Bangladesh Laws (Revision And Declaration) Act, 1973 (Act No. VIII of 1973)

2 The words `and the transport from one province to another` were omitted by section 3 and 2nd Schedule of the Bangladesh Laws (Revision And Declaration) Act, 1973 (Act No. VIII of 1973)
