Where a licensee or any person duly authorised by him in this behalf, requires any police assistance for carrying out the purposes of this Act, he may make an application to the officer-in-charge of the Police Station of the concerned Thana:Provided that a copy of the requisition letter will be sent to the Superintendent of Police of the concerned District, Metropolitan Police Commissioner in a Metropolitan Area, the Deputy Commissioner of the District or the Upazilla Nirbahi Officer of the Upazilla concerned as the case may be, who will ensure to render the police assistance required.]
